Nestled in the Sunset District where many condos such as Clementi Residences and Sunset Way Condo are located, many cool cafes and restaurants have established themselves here over the years. Some have been there for a long time, and some new cafes cater to the young and trendy….but rest assured, there is something suited for everyone. One can see why so many aspire to live here. As such, many new condos such as the soon-to-be launched Ki Residences and Clavon are ready to be launched in 3rd Qtr 2020.

Chin Huat was established as Singapore’s first live seafood restaurant in 1995 – ‘Chin Huat Live Seafood’. The first of its kind in Singapore, Chin Huat Live Seafood created a lot of hype and interest as well as revolutionising the local seafood restaurant scene by allowing all diners to “select and catch” their live seafood  directly from the tanks. Known as ‘Ah Huat the Clementi Seafood King’ to many of their customers

Mr Low Chin’s famous phrase for his lobsters “龙虾大过小女孩“ (a lobster larger than a little girl), took Singapore by storm. Today, Chin Huat Live Seafood continues to serve live seafood at affordable prices, a favourite restaurant with the residents who live around the Sunset estate and beyond, with a wonderful menu of seafood and non-seafood items to please all palates.

We highly recommend the Pumpkin Crab Bee Hoon and the Caramalised Pork. Their coconut desserts are also divine.

Summer Hill

Summer Hill is a quaint French bistro tucked away in the Sunset enclave, helmed by Anthony Yeoh, former head chef at the now defunct Cocette. This cosy restaurant serves up simple, comforting and unpretentious French food that delights but wont break the bank. Famous for their French Fried Chicken, which serves “Organic” birds free of hormone and anti-biotics. Try their Fried Chicken Platter which serves 2-3 pax for sharing. Other scrumptious options include their Lobster & FoieGras Pot Pies and desserts.

Summer Hill is located at 106 Clementi Street 12 #01-62, Singapore 120106.
